SMASHED AVOCADO
W/MINT AND FETTA
Ingredients:

Avocado
-
Mint
-
Fetta
-
Lemon* (optional)
Method:
-
Peel and remove the seed of one avocado
-
Mash the avocado in a bowl using the back of a fork
-
Finely slice fresh mint (4-5 leaves) and add to bowl
-
Crumble fetta in to the mixing bowl
-
Stir mint and fetta in to the avocado
-
*Add freshly squeezed lemon juice if you are not serving immediately and store in the refrigerator
HOMEMADE BONE BROTH
GREAT FOR STOCKS, SOUPS AND
SLOW COOKER RECIPES
Ingredients:

Off-cut bones (preferably with marrow)
-
Filtered water
-
Apple cider vinegar
-
Vegetable off cuts (keep these in the freezer rather than throwing them out when preparing vegetables for other dishes)
-
Garlic
-
Ginger
Method:
-
Place bones, vegetables, fresh garlic and ginger in a slow cooker
-
Cover with filtered water
-
Add 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
-
Place slow cooker on low heat
-
Leave for 24-48 hours
-
Strain for immediate use or into an airtight container and store in the fridge for use within 7 days or freeze for later use as a stock, soup or slow cooker base

*To make a vegetarian broth, follow the same process without adding off-cut bones
TURMERIC LATTE
A PERFECT COFFEE ALTERNATIVE
Ingredients:

Coconut milk
-
Turmeric
-
Cinnamon
-
Organic/Raw honey
-
Nutmeg (optional)
Method:
-
Froth OR in a pan heat 250ml coconut milk
-
Add 1 tsp turmeric, 1 tsp cinnamon and 1/2 tsp honey
-
Stir/whisk until well combined
-
Pour into a cup and sprinkle with cinnamon/nutmeg
CINNAMON AND ROSEMARY
SWEET POTATO CHIPS
Ingredients:
-
Sweet potato
-
Cinnamon
-
Rosemary
-
Sea salt
-
Cracked pepper
-
Coconut oil
Method:
-
Preheat oven to 180°C
-
Slice sweet potato in to strips and coat in coconut oil
-
Place on a baking tray, sprinkle with cinnamon, rosemary, sea salt and cracked pepper
-
Place in the oven and roast until golden brown
-
Serve with our smashed avocado
HOMEMADE MINT JELLY
Ingredients:
-
Fresh mint
-
Water
-
Chia seeds
-
Lemon* (optional)
Method:
-
Add a large handful (strip 4-5 stems) of freshly picked mint leaves to a blender
-
Pour 150-200mL of water into the blender
-
Add 15g OR 1 level Tbsp of chia seeds
-
Blend until mint is chopped into fine pieces
-
Pour into a sterile glass/jar and place in the fridge to set
-
*Add freshly squeezed lemon juice to the mix prior to blending if making larger batches for storage
